I used to work full time on the stock crew at a grocery store. It was mostly late night shifts. I always worked until at least 2 in the morning and frequently as late as 5 or 6. I also worked part time as a personal care attendant two days a week during the day. One morning I had worked at the grocery until about 5:30 in the morning. I went home and pretty much went straight to bed, exhausted. About 7:00 the phone rings. It's the lady--who knew that I usually worked well into the morning hours-- that worked at my other job on my off days. She's asking if there was any way that I could possibly come over because it was an emergency. I asked her what the problem was that she needed my help so early in the morning when I had worked all night the night before. The dire "emergency" was that she couldn't find the power supply for the MP3 player. And it wasn't even the client that wanted to listen to it. She was the one who wanted it. Needless to say I really laid into her and told her next time she calls me at that hour someone had better be sick or in the hospital or something and not for something so incredibly silly and stupid as that. To top it off, I found out later that it was never missing or anything. She had it the whole time but she couldn't figure out how to plug it in.
